Gabriela Hearst wants you to know about nuclear fusion
Chloé creative director Gabriela Hearst has always been environmentally conscious in her work, having been recognized as the fashion industry's first carbon-free runway in 2019. Currently, Hearst is focusing on nuclear fusion, a clean (yet-unachieved) energy alternative. Heart's Spring 2023 collection features physical design and chemical patterns on clothing from visits to nuclear fusion labs across the country and around the globe. Meanwhile, Hearst's latest resort collection is laser aims to promote fusion literacy to the public through motifs such as star-cut stars and scattered leather jackets.
